Opportunities, Inc. was recently awarded the Frugal Bugle Award for Fiscal Year 2015 by Rehabilitation for Wisconsin for their outstanding operational achievements while managing strict adherence to Wisconsin’s Rest Area Maintenance (RAM) budget parameters.

Opportunities, Inc.’s Rest Area Custodial Program contracts with Rehabilitation for Wisconsin through their RAM Program to maintain the I-94 Eastbound and Westbound public rest areas. Through the program, individuals with diverse skills and abilities gain hands-on training for future community employment. The program is lead by a team of supervisors with backgrounds in commercial cleaning and understanding of a diverse workforce.

The agency received the award for consistently having excellent monthly audit scores and meeting the budget requirements. Opportunities, Inc.’s Rest Area Custodial Training Program has received numerous awards over the years including the 2013 Inspector’s Award from the state. Their commitment to provide top notch training and service is an important part of the program.

Congressman Sensenbrenner stopped at Opportunities, Inc. in Fort Atkinson to meet with fellow constituents and was able to formally recognize the Rest Area Custodial Program team for their recent honor.
